Alexander Milne
(Archdiocese of Glasgow) Born in Elgin, 8th October 1856, the son of Robert Milne and Helen Geddes; recalled by Archbishop Eyre to Partickhill, 25th July 1876, but left there to become a Benedictine, 1877; joined Fort Augustus community and, after novitiate and profession at Belmont Abbey, returned to Fort Augustus, July 1880, and ordained a priest, 1884 (Dom Kentigern); died in Fort Augustus, 7th March 1942.
